Becoming a staff member on AdderallMC is a serious commitment and a rewarding experience. It's an opportunity to help shape the community, assist players, and ensure the server remains a fun and fair place for everyone. This guide outlines what we look for in a candidate and explains the official application process.
The Path to Staff[]
All staff journeys on AdderallMC begin at the rank of Helper. This is our entry-level staff position. We do not offer moderator or admin positions to external applicants.
If your Helper application is successful, you will undergo a trial period. Based on your performance, dedication, and teamwork, you may be promoted to higher ranks such as Moderator and beyond. We believe in promoting from within, rewarding those who have proven their commitment to the server.
What We Look For in a Candidate[]
Before you apply, ask yourself if you meet the following criteria. These are the key qualities we look for in every potential staff member.
1. Activity & Dedication[]
Your playtime is a direct measure of your dedication. We expect staff members to have a significant and consistent presence in-game and on our Discord. You can't help the community if you're not a part of it.
2. Community Reputation & Knowledge[]
Your history in the community matters immensely. Are you known for being helpful and positive? Do you actively assist players in chat before even considering a staff role? Do you have a clean punishment history? We look for role models, not rule-breakers. Deep knowledge of our server's rules, gamemodes, and community "in-jokes" is essential.
3. Maturity & Professionalism[]
As a staff member, you represent the server. You must be able to handle situations calmly, professionally, and without bias. Age is not the only factor in maturity; your attitude and how you interact with others are what truly matter.
4. A Genuine Desire to Help[]
The best staff members are those who apply because they want to improve the server and help other players, not because they want a fancy prefix or special commands. This is a volunteer role focused on community service.
The Application Process[]

- Step 1: Join Our Discord — The entire application process is handled through our Discord server. If you're not already a member, you must join:

- Step 2: Find the Application Channel — Once in our Discord, navigate to the staff applications channel to find the official application form and instructions.
- Direct Channel Link: #staff-applications (Note: You must be in the server for this link to work).
- Step 3: Submit Your Application — Fill out the form with honest, detailed, and thoughtful answers. Low-effort applications will be immediately denied.
Please Note: Staff applications are not always open. We open them when we need to expand the team. If applications are closed, please be patient and do not ask staff members when they will reopen.
